Dr Anwar Halari

Dr. Anwar Halari is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Accounting at The Open University, where they teach various accounting and finance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With sixteen years of experience in higher education, Dr. Halari's research focuses on interdisciplinary themes such as accountability, sustainability, and corporate governance. They are a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Executive Board member of the British Accounting and Finance Association's Interdisciplinary Perspectives Special Interest Group. Dr. Halari holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance and has previously taught at institutions including the University of Dundee, University of Buckingham, and University of St Andrews.
