Freda Wolfenden is a Professor of Education and International Development at The Open University. They held roles as Academic Director for the TESS-India project, managing a £10M DfID-funded teacher education program across India from 2014 to 2019. Their previous experience includes being the Education Director and Team Leader for the Girls' Education Challenge, as well as serving as Director of the TESSA programme and Associate Dean within the Faculty of Education and Language Studies at The Open University.
