Gordon Rugg

Gordon Rugg is a multidisciplinary researcher and consultant with a focus on applied research in knowledge acquisition and representation. They hold a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of Reading and have served as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at Keele University since 2002. Rugg is also a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Open University, collaborating on various projects related to requirements acquisition and education theory. As a director of Hyde & Rugg Associates, they specialize in addressing complex knowledge issues. Rugg is the co-author of "The Unwritten Rules of PhD Research," currently in its third edition, and their work has been featured in multiple international television documentaries.
