Jack Wright is an early career researcher specializing in planetary geology and geomorphology, with a particular focus on volcanism on Mercury. Currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Leicester, Jack previously held positions as a Research Fellow at the European Space Agency and a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Open University, where they contributed to various projects, including planetary geological mapping and AI terrain classifications. Jack completed a PhD in Planetary Geology from The Open University and a Master of Science in Natural Sciences (Geology) from the University of Cambridge. In addition to research, Jack actively participates in public and school science communication and co-supervises PhD students.
