Jackie Powell

Jackie Powell is a higher education consultant specializing in access and participation, with extensive management and leadership experience across educational sectors. Previously, Jackie held roles including Student Services Manager at The Sheffield College and Head of Department at the same institution, as well as leading the Higher Education Progression Partnership between Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield. Jackie is currently an external adviser to the Access Board of Studies at The Open University and an educational adviser at Applied Inspiration, while also volunteering at St. Luke's Hospice. Education includes a B.Ed. in Education and Sociology from The University of Sheffield and a Diploma in Careers Education from Nottingham Trent University.
