Jamie Gaskarth

Jamie Gaskarth is a Professor of Foreign Policy and International Relations at The Open University, where they coordinate research activities for approximately 158 staff. They have authored or edited six books on topics including British foreign and defense policy and international relations. Jamie previously served as a Reader in Foreign Policy and International Relations at the University of Birmingham and held various leadership roles at Plymouth University, including Associate Professor in International Relations. Additionally, they contributed as Associate Editor for *International Affairs* and were the former Editor in Chief of the *Journal of Global Security Studies*. Jamie's current research project focuses on British defense and security reviews since 1998, in collaboration with colleagues from King's College, London.
