Josie Fraser

Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The Open University

Josie Fraser is the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor at The Open University. Josie has previous experience working at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Institute of Coding, and International Network for Health Workforce Education. From September 2004 to September 2006, they were a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where they researched into psychotropic drug effects and developing partnerships with pharmaceutical industry colleagues.

Dr. Josie Fraser is a neuropsychopharmacologist who holds a PhD from the University of Bradford. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed a BSc in physiology and pharmacology at the University of Leeds.

Josie Fraser reports to Baroness Lane-Fox, Chancellor. They work with Devendra Kodwani - Executive Dean, Malcolm Sweeting - Pro-Chancellor, and Caragh Molloy - Group People Director.
