Laila Burton

Laila Burton is the Assistant Director in the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Students) at The Open University, where they oversee initiatives to enhance student experiences. Previously, Laila held various positions at The Open University from 2012 to 2015, including Production Liaison Manager and Senior Manager. They also worked as a Project Officer and Programme Coordinator at the Higher Education Academy between 2004 and 2006. Laila earned a BA (Hons) in Design Technology Education from York St. John University and a Master of Education from The Open University. Currently, Laila is pursuing further education at The Open University, expected to complete in 2025.
