Lorena Hodgson

Lorena Hodgson is an experienced professional dedicated to community support and education. As the Founder of Education Outside School CIC, Lorena has provided resources and funding for home educating families since 2010. In addition, Lorena serves as Director of Red Barn Creative, managing social media for independent businesses and social enterprises. Engagement as a Research Consultant for The Open University began in February 2024. Furthermore, Lorena founded the Wisbech Community Hub CIC and Wisbech Projects CIC, both aimed at enhancing local culture and education. Lorena also holds the position of House Manager at the Octavia Hill Birthplace Museum Trust. Additionally, experience as an IT Consultant for Red Barn Digital and as an independent contractor spans back to 1988, focusing on Unix consultancy. Lorena completed a BA in Classics and History of Science, Technology, and Medicine from The Open University between 2000 and 2008.
