Mathew Jones has extensive experience in education, beginning as a Classroom Teacher at Ysgol Nantgaredig from September 1999 to September 2007. Following this, Mathew held leadership positions as Head Teacher at both Carmarthenshire County Council and Ysgol Gynradd Blaenau between 2007 and 2010. Mathew transitioned to higher education as a Senior Lecturer in Education and BA Ed with QTS Programme Lead at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David from July 2015 to March 2020. Additionally, Mathew served as Assistant Director of ITE at the same institution from December 2017 to March 2020. Currently, since March 2020, Mathew has been an Open University Primary PGCE Tutor For Wales and has also taken on the role of Director of Learning at Cymbrogi Futures, focusing on creating a sustainable educational center in Pembrokeshire. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Cardiff University and a Primary PGCE from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
