Michael Bower

Michael Bower is an experienced higher education leader currently serving as the Deputy Director for Ireland (Student Success & Strategy) at The Open University. They previously held positions such as Assistant Director, Ireland (Student Success & External Engagement) and Change Lead - Employer Engagement at The Open University. Michael has also gained extensive experience in local governance and community development through roles as a Councillor for North Down Borough Council and as a Director for Bangor and Holywood Town Centre Management and North Down Development Organisation. They earned a Master of Business Administration from The Open University and a First Class Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Queen's University Belfast.
