Nikki Luke

Associate Lecturer

Nikki Luke is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in psychology, particularly in developmental psychology and the impacts of negative parenting experiences on children's social perceptions. Nikki served as a Sessional Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London, teaching courses related to child development, and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Sussex, where responsibilities included teaching various psychology courses and presenting lectures. A PhD was completed at the University of Sussex, focusing on the influence of parenting on children's social understanding. Currently, Nikki is a Research Fellow at the Rees Centre, University of Oxford, conducting research to improve outcomes for children in care and those in need.
