Rashik Parmar

Rashik Parmar is the Founding Executive Director of Rangoli Radio, serving the community in Leeds and globally since November 2020. Currently, Parmar holds advisory roles with The Open University and the Natural Environment Research Council, as well as serving as a DIGIT Fellow at DIGITLabUK, focusing on digital transformations for large organizations. As Group CEO of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, from October 2022 to December 2024, Parmar aimed to elevate the brand and modernize the core chartered proposition. Rashik Parmar also chaired the Board of Trustees for We are IVE, dedicated to harnessing creativity for social betterment. With extensive experience at IBM from 1983 to 2022, including roles as IBM Fellow and Vice President Technology - EMEA, Parmar significantly impacted the organization and the IT industry. Additionally, involvement with the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and an honorary role as Adjunct Professor at Imperial College London contributed to a diverse professional background. Rashik Parmar earned a BSc in Computing Science from Imperial College London.
