SalIy Jordan

Sally Jordan is an Emeritus Professor of Physics Education at The Open University, where they previously served as a Professor of Physics Education and Head of the Department of Physical Sciences from 2000 to 2021. With a PhD in E-assessment for learning, their research focuses on the connections between assessment and learning, particularly in physics education, and they have worked extensively on improving student engagement through automated feedback systems. Sally's interests also include equity, diversity, and inclusion within educational contexts. Prior to their professorship, they were a tutor at The Open University from 1992 to 2000.
