Serhan Cosar

Serhan Cosar is a Senior Lecturer in Robotics at De Montfort University since November 2019, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Lincoln from August 2015 to November 2019, where involvement included the EU H2020 project ENRICHME focused on independent care and health monitoring for the elderly. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellow role at Inria from March 2013 to July 2015 working on the Dem@Care project, as well as an Expert Engineer position on the same project. Serhan Cosar was a Research Assistant at Sabanci University from September 2005 to December 2013, contributing to projects such as fatigue detection via facial feature tracking and visual sensor networks. Additionally, Serhan Cosar had a brief tenure as a Visiting PhD Student at Aalborg University in 2010. Educational achievements include a PhD and MS in Electronics Engineering from Sabanci University and a BS in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Kocaeli University.
