Simone Arthur is a Senior Research Manager at The Open University, specializing in International Development and advocating for Diversity and Inclusion. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Simone has over a decade of experience in the Higher Education sector, where Simone has focused on addressing barriers faced by marginalized staff and students. Formerly a Senior Project Manager and a Research Associate at World Vision UK, Simone has a strong commitment to collaborative and impactful research informed by the perspectives of the Global South. They earned an MBA and a Master's in International Relations from the University of Warwick, alongside a Bachelor's degree from the University of the West Indies.
