Stacey Heath

Lecturer

Stacey Heath has a diverse professional background, beginning with roles in civil service as a recruitment consultant, fraud squad officer, and benefits advisor from 1997 to 2002. Following this, Stacey worked at CareTech Community Services Ltd as a child support worker and teaching assistant from 2011 to 2014, focusing on children with mental health challenges. Stacey pursued academic endeavors, completing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Staffordshire University and a Master's Degree in Social and Organisational Psychology from the University of Exeter, where Stacey also earned a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. From 2020 to 2024, Stacey served as a Post-doctoral Research Associate and Associate Lecturer at the University of Exeter, and since May 2022, has been a Lecturer at The Open University, researching group processes and behavior change related to community well-being and environmental issues.
