Stefan Rueger

Stefan Rueger is a Professor of Knowledge Media at The Open University, where they conduct research and projects in Citizen Science and Artificial Intelligence. They co-founded DynAikon Ltd in 2015, providing predictive analytics and automated biodiversity recognition solutions. Previously, they held roles as Reader in Multimedia and Information Systems at Imperial College London, where they managed research projects and supervised students, and worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, focusing on artificial neural networks and convex optimization. Stefan holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin and an MSc in Physics & Mathematics from Freie Universität Berlin.
