Adam Steckelman

Adam Steckelman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Adam most recently worked at CloudZero as a Senior System Engineer starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Bionic from June 2022 to May 2023. Adam also held multiple roles at Sumo Logic, including Solutions Architect (Pre Sales) from March 2021 to June 2022, and Senior System Engineer from March 2017 to March 2021.

Before joining Sumo Logic, Adam worked at DellEMC as an Advisory Systems Engineer from July 2016 to March 2017. Adam also had significant experience at EMC, where they held several positions such as SE Manager from June 2014 to July 2016, Advisory SE / Team Lead from April 2013 to May 2014, vSpecialist from January 2012 to March 2013, Advisory Systems Engineer from January 2011 to December 2011, and Technical Consultant Manager from January 2008 to January 2011.

Adam's early career includes roles at SMARTS as a Sales Engineer from September 2003 to January 2005. Adam also worked at International Network Services (INS) as a Managing Consultant in 2003, Predictive Systems as a Managing Consultant from 1995 to 2003, Bear Stearns as a Network Management Tools Integration Consultant from 1995 to 1999, and The Ultimate Corp as an Engineer from 1991 to 1995.

Adam Steckelman completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Science from Virginia Tech from 1986 to 1991. Adam also obtained additional certifications, including Watch4Net APG Certified Administrator from Watch4net in August 2012, EMC Proven Professional - EMISA Information Storage Associate from EMC in June 2010, EMC Proven Professional - Network Management Smarts Administration from EMC in January 2008, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon expected to be obtained in June 2023.
