Bob Oakes

Bob Oakes has extensive work experience in software engineering and architecture. Bob is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at CloudZero since 2021. Previously, they worked at Citrix from 2017 to 2021, where they were responsible for designing and building cloud services and integrating technologies acquired from Unidesk. Prior to that, Bob worked at Unidesk from 2010 to 2017 as a Software Architect. Bob also served as a Software Architect at Egenera, Inc from 2002 to 2010. Bob's work experience also includes being a Software Engineer/Team Lead at Smart Storage, Inc. from 1994 to 2002, and a Software Engineer at MicroRetrieval Corporation from 1991 to 1994. Bob started their career as a Programmer at Retrieval Technologies, Inc. in 1990.

Bob Oakes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which they attended from 1989 to 1994.
