Chris is a Managing Partner and Principal at Clovis Point. Chris is active in the day-to-day management of the firm and is responsible for managing the firm’s overall strategy, governance and investment activities. Prior to co-founding Clovis Point in 2014, Chris worked on the investment team of Main Street Capital Corporation executing a broad array of transactions in the lower middle-market. Chris’s responsibilities included managing all aspects of the deal execution process and actively monitoring investments, including serving on several boards. Previously, Chris worked at Republic Holdings, an Austin-based private investment holding company, where he led direct investments in small, growing companies. Chris began his career in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group of J.P. Morgan, where he was involved in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisories and capital market financings for clients engaged in all facets of the energy industry. Chris received his B.S. in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University and his M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Chris is actively involved with the Greater Houston Community Foundation and Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance.
