Kate Spilker

Kate Spilker has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance. Kate is currently working as a Software QA Lead at Clozd since August 2021. In 2022, they founded both QA Leadership Group and Clozd for Women. Prior to this, Kate worked at Divvy | Inc. as a Software Engineer in Test from January 2020 to August 2021. Kate also served as a QA Automation Engineer Lead at Grow.com from October 2019 to January 2020. Before that, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer at Grow.com from March 2018 to October 2019. Kate also has experience as a Guest Lecturer at Devmountain from May 2019 to November 2019. Kate started their career as a Student Software QA Engineer at DevMountain in January 2018 and ended in February 2018. Kate has also owned and managed KS Home Cleaning from April 2010 to December 2017.

Kate Spilker attended Devmountain in 2018, where they completed an accelerated and immersive QA bootcamp and earned a degree in Student Software Quality Analyst. Prior to that, they attended Salt Lake Community College from 2000 to 2001 and obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Art/Art Studies, General. Kate also holds additional certifications including Automated Software Testing with Cypress from Udemy in February 2022, Software Testing from ASTQB in February 2018, and Quality Assurance Automation Certificate and Quality Assurance Certification from DevMountain.
