John Ching

John Ching, CEng, has extensive experience in project management and renewable energy execution in East China, specifically overseeing significant projects for CLP since August 2015. As Manager of Project Management and Project Execution, John has successfully managed key renewable energy projects, including an 80MW solar-fishery project and various wind assets. John's responsibilities include total project cost management, contractor oversight, and progress reporting, leading to timely and safe project completions. Earlier roles include engineering consultant positions at DaVinci Labs and internships at Cathay Pacific Airways and PCCW Teleservices. John holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, alongside additional studies in German language and culture at Technische Universität Dresden.
