Caroline Chivers is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial crime prevention. Currently serving as Treasurer (Lay Trustee) for the British Society for Rheumatology since June 2024, Caroline has held significant roles in various organizations, including Internal Audit Director at CLS Group since August 2019 and Vice President at Barclays from May 2013 to September 2019. Caroline’s career began in 2001 and includes positions as Audit Specialist at Old Mutual and Senior Auditor at Borders, among others. Caroline holds an ACA qualification from the ICAEW and an ICA Diploma in Prevention of Financial Crime, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Physics from The University of Edinburgh.
