Simon Hunt

Simon Hunt has over two decades of experience in finance, with a focus on fixed income products. Simon is currently the Head of Finance Business Partnering at CLS Group.

Previously, they were the Director of the Cost Reduction Programme at RBS from January 2009 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for driving targets and initiatives bank wide to achieve 2020 cost ambitions, as well as Zero based budgeting for focused areas of the cost base. Additionally, they drove the Bank's agenda and commitment to Cost culture, consciousness and discipline.

Before their time at RBS, Simon was the VP of Finance at Lehman Brothers from September 2006 to January 2009. In this role, they were responsible for product control, financial control, and building a new team. Additionally, they oversaw controls and process development, as well as system development.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Simon worked at Credit Suisse from September 1999 to September 2006. In their role as VP of Finance, they were responsible for fixed income products and financial control.

Simon Hunt's educational career began at Bradfield College, where they studied management studies. Simon then went on to study at the University of Leeds, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in management studies.
