They are the Chief Executive Officer of CLYNK, a full-service circularity solutions provider making it easy for consumers and brands to do the right thing. They previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Upstream from 2015 to 2023, where they led a 12-person board, built a team of 18 staff/contractors, grew fundraising from $300,000 to $1.7 million annually, and helped create the Reuse Movement in the US with more than 17,000 leaders. Earlier in their career, they were Circular Economy Project Director and Legislative Director at the Natural Resources Council of Maine (2003–2011), and they co-founded Going Local (2001–2004) as well as working as Public Policy / Campaign Consultant at MP Consulting Inc. (2000–2003). They co-founded the BreakFreeFromPlastic Movement and advised organizations including the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Urban Sustainability Directors Network and C40 Cities on plastics and reuse strategies. They are pursuing education at the University of Maine and Lewis and Clark College.
