Bram Kersten has extensive work experience in various roles related to product ownership, management, and user experience consulting. Bram is currently working at CM.com as a Senior Product Owner/Manager for Identity & Sign. Prior to this, they worked at DLL as a Digital Product Owner for Web Portals for five years. Bram also worked at Capgemini as a Managing Consultant for digital projects, where they gained experience in roles such as UX Team Lead, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach. Bram has provided their expertise to organizations like AkzoNobel, NL2025, Philips, Nederlandse Emissie Autoriteit (NEa), Het Waterschapshuis, SVB Sociale Verzekeringsbank, and Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis in various consulting and management positions.

Bram Kersten has a diverse educational background. Bram began their postdoctoral studies in Customer Experience (CEM) and Multichannel Management at Beeckestijn Business School in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) in User System Interaction (USI) from Eindhoven University of Technology from 2003 to 2005. Before their PDEng, they completed a Master of Science (MSc.) in Human Technology Interaction from the same university between 2000 and 2003. Bram Kersten's education journey started with a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Automotive Engineering from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Bram Kersten has also acquired several certifications. These include SAFe 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017, Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in 2016, and Master of Online Persuasion from Online Dialogue in 2015. Bram also earned certifications such as SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015, Agile Project Management Practitioner (DSDM) from APMG-International in 2014, and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org in 2013.
