Daniel Cristea

Daniel Cristea is a seasoned maritime engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and marine operations. Beginning a career as a Mechanical Engineer at MIR Service, Daniel transitioned to various roles at Maersk Line, serving as Third and Fourth Engineer on container ships, where responsibilities included ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with environmental policies. Daniel subsequently took on the role of Ship Recycling Supervisor at Grieg Green AS, overseeing ship recycling processes for major offshore projects. Following that, experience at CMA CGM included positions as Lead Machinery Supervisor, Deputy Site Manager, and Site Manager, primarily in new vessel construction and retrofitting projects. Daniel also held the position of Plan Approval Engineer at Schulte Marine Concept and started as a Motorman with Betty K Line. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Naval Installations and Equipments from Universitatea „Ovidius” din Constanța and specialization courses in Maritime Engineering.
