CMA was founded in 1951 in Alzira (Valencia) Spain. The founder of this company, started as a family business, is still active in the company today.

Initially, CMA was involved in the repair of agricultural machinery. Due to economic developments, CMA has taken a different path over time to meet the changing needs. Thus, in 1991, CMA started to produce thread cutting machines and in 2002 also added coordinate drilling machines to its range. Since 2003 CMA has been active in the UK. Due to the strong demand for CMA tapping machines and drilling centres, among others in the UK.
