Jasdeep Bains

Jasdeep Bains is a Policy Analyst at the California Medical Association since December 2022, with prior experience as a Legislative Intern at the Steinberg Institute where behavioral health research and legislative documentation were key responsibilities. At Insure the Uninsured Project, health policy research and legislative tracking were undertaken as a Health Policy Research Intern. Jasdeep also gained experience as a Student Intern in the Office of Senator Holly J. Mitchell and the Los Angeles City Mayor's Office, assisting with constituent inquiries and event coordination. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on Public and Non-Profit Leadership from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and English from UCLA.
