Layla Oomen

Layla Oomen possesses extensive experience in environmental health and safety management, with a career spanning from 2007 to the present. Oomen began as a Bediende at Decathlon and later served in various roles including EHS Systems and Specifications Support Engineer at Crown Cork & Seal and EHS Coordinator at JBF Global Europe BVBA. Oomen advanced to the position of EHS Capital Project Manager at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. before taking on the role of SHEQ Manager at CMB. Oomen is currently fulfilling the responsibilities of SHEQ Manager Workplace Safety & Regulatory Compliance at CMB.TECH. Academically, Oomen holds multiple degrees, including Prevention Advisor certifications at levels 2 and 3, a postgraduate degree in animal rehabilitation techniques and sports coaching, and a recent postgraduate specialization in Prevention Advisor level 1 with distinction from the Universiteit Antwerpen. Further studies in disaster management are ongoing at Campus Vesta.
