Aron Eklund is a seasoned professional in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics, currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Clinical Microbiomics since August 2017, where previous roles included Director of Bioinformatics. Eklund's extensive academic background includes positions as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoc at the Technical University of Denmark from March 2007 to July 2017, and a Scientific Programmer at Boston Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2002 to 2007. Eklund earned a PhD in Computational Biology from DTU in 2010 and holds an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from MIT, along with previous studies in Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder and UC San Diego.
