Marcus Pridgeon has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Marcus worked as the Director of Energy Pricing & Policy at Commercial Metals Company starting in 2009. Prior to that, they held the position of Assistant General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Lower Colorado River Authority from 2003 to 2008. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all generation, transmission, and water activities. Additionally, they served as the General Manager & CEO at Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative from 1994 to 2003.
Marcus Pridgeon began their education at St. Edward's University in 2007, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics. Marcus completed their studies in 2009. In 2011, Marcus attended The LBJ School of Public Affairs and obtained a Master of Public Affairs degree, focusing on Energy Policy.
