Mario Silva

Mario Silva is a results-oriented Quality Manager with over 20 years of experience in the steel and metallurgy sectors. Currently serving as the Quality Manager at CMC, Mario previously held roles such as Senior Raw Materials Improvement Facilitator and Senior Improvement Facilitator III at Gerdau, where they led various continuous improvement initiatives. Mario's expertise in process engineering and quality management has been further demonstrated through leadership positions at Ivaco Rolling Mills and Winoa, overseeing global quality programs across multiple manufacturing plants. They are pursuing both a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master's degree in Extractive Metallurgy from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
