David Simpson

David Simpson is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in FX trading and sales across various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Buyside Sales APAC at CME Group since April 2019, David has also held roles including Head of Sellside Sales - APAC and Senior Director - Client Development & Sales. Prior to CME Group, David worked at BNY Mellon as the Director and Head of G10 FX Trading Asia, and at Investec, where responsibilities included FICC Sales and Head of FX Trading. David's career also includes significant roles at Société Générale, National Australia Bank, ANZ Investment Bank, and Westpac Institutional Bank, spanning from G10 FX Trading to senior trading positions. David holds a post-graduate certificate in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney and graduated from The King's School.
