Derek Sammann

Derek Sammann is the Senior MD and Global Head of Commodities & Options Products at CME Group. Derek has extensive experience working in the financial sector, having previously served as Managing Director, Global Head of FX Options & Structured Products at Crédit Agricole CIB and as Vice President, Head Floor Trader at Cooper, Neff & Associates. Derek also served on the board of the Foreign Exchange Professionals Association and as a COMEX Governor's Committee.

Derek Sammann has a BA from Northwestern University in Economics & Political Science and is currently an MBA candidate at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Derek has also attended the Agribusiness Seminar at Harvard Business School.
