John Scheerer

John Scheerer has extensive experience in global operations within the financial sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Global Operations at CME Group since December 2008, where John has held various positions including Director, Manager, and multiple analyst roles. Prior to joining CME Group, John Scheerer worked as an Equity Index Arbitrage Trader at TradeLink from June 2007 to December 2008 and as a Proprietary Trader at Ocean Street Trading from January 1998 to June 2007. John Scheerer holds a Master’s degree in Finance with a focus on Security Analysis and Portfolio Optimization from Creighton University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Japanese Minor from San Diego State University (1987-1991).
