Don Deye

Medical Director at Oakstone Publishing

Don Deye started their work experience in 1979 as a Consultant in General Internal Medicine at Isanti County MN. Don also held the roles of Assistant Medical Examiner and Public Health Physician at the same company. In 1981, they became the Medical Director at Oakstone Publishing, a position they held until 2010. In 1992, they joined Oakstone Medical Publishing as the Medical Director, where they created and hosted the MKSAP Audio Companion. In 2003, they became the District Medical Director for Allina Medical Clinics' North Region. Don also served as a Member of the Minnesota Medicine Editorial Advisory Board from 2008 to 2011. In 2008, they joined the Midwest Regional Medical Examiner as the Isanti County Assistant Medical Examiner, a position they currently hold.

Don Deye attended Valparaiso University from 1968 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry, German, and Psychology. Don then pursued further education at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine from 1972 to 1976, earning their MD degree with a focus on Internal Medicine and Neuroendocrinology. Don Deye continued their medical education at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences from 1976 to 1979, where they became IM Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
