Kurt Catton

Kurt Catton has over 20 years of experience in the accounting field. Kurt began their career in 1989 as an Accountant at Overland Data. Kurt then moved to MVTS Technologies in 1999, where they held the same role. In 2002, Kurt joined Creative Marketing Graphics, Inc. as an Accounting Manager. In this role, they were responsible for all day-to-day accounting, human resource and treasury functions for a privately held service and manufacturing company. Kurt prioritized internal controls and implemented processes and procedures for month end closing protocols, reporting and budgeting. Kurt also set direct billing for all Merlin Entertainment companies and subsidiaries, secured a 6 million dollar loan with the SBA for the purchase of a printing press, and secured over $400K for leased production equipment through Apple Financial. Kurt also served as the legal representative for the company's stock options and implemented and maintained cross platform software for Finance and Operations. In 2011, Kurt joined Troy Apps Software as a Controller. Kurt is proficient in financial statement preparation, general ledger analysis, forecasting and budget management.

Kurt Catton attended Brother Rice High School from 1980 to 1985, Christ the King prior to that, and Michigan State University from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Computer Science.
