Shawn Decker

Shawn Decker has a long and varied work experience in Human Resources. Shawn began their career in 2006 as a Senior HR Manager at Speedway LLC, a Marathon Petroleum subsidiary. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting, workforce planning, employee relations, advising management, and administering company policies and procedures. In 2014, they moved to McDonald's Corporation, where they provided HR generalist support to hundreds of corporate employees in IT, Digital, Global Shared Services, and APMEA. Shawn then joined Circle K in 2015 as the Director of Human Resources, where they advised the VP of Operations and 10 Director peers on a broad range of topics. In 2021, Shawn Decker became President of Talent Scout Advisors, LLC, an executive search and talent consulting firm based in Chicago. Finally, in 2022 they became a Human Resources Executive at CMG (Capital Markets Gateway).

Shawn Decker obtained their Bachelor's of Science in Economics and Finance from Northern Michigan University between 2003 and 2005. Shawn then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Executive Management from Indiana Wesleyan University between 2012 and 2016. In 2010, they obtained a PHR certification from HRCI.
