Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd. (abbreviated: CMIT) was established on January 26, 2007 as a joint venture between Maersk A/S and the Vietnam-based Saigon Port & Vietnam National Shipping Lines - Vinalines.
Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd. (with the area of 48ha and 600m berth length) will be one of the main gateways for exporting and importing cargo in the south of Vietnam (including cargo from Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Duong province, Dong Nai province and other neighbouring provinces).
