Aaron Farris

Aaron Farris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Aaron started their career as a Systems Administrator at ITT Technical Institute in 2005, where they were responsible for installing and configuring wireless access for students and alumni. Aaron then worked as a Unix Technician at Intel in 2006 before joining Tekosystems as a Lead Systems Engineer, where they focused on server and workstation installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. In 2007, Aaron became the IT Director and Senior Systems Administrator at Girl Scouts - Heart of Central California, where they managed all aspects of IT and developed yearly IT department budgets. From 2001 to 2008, they owned Farris IT Consulting and was responsible for implementing and administering VPN and Terminal Services, managing Windows and Linux servers, and overseeing Active Directory administration for multiple clients. Currently, Aaron is employed as a Service Delivery Manager at CMIT Solutions, Inc., where they oversee project management, personnel management, and supports a large number of users in a multi-location environment.

Aaron Farris attended Northwestern Technical College from 2002 to 2004 and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology. In May 2003, they also obtained a certification in Linux+.
