CMK is a European leader in high-purity Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) materials, recycling technologies, and advanced analytical services for the semiconductor, optoelectronics, and advanced materials. With more than 50 years of experience, CMK combines heritage, innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence to deliver advanced material solutions for the technologies of tomorrow.

Our roots date back to 1967, when the first Czechoslovak gallium was produced in our region. Building on this legacy, CMK launched GaAs production in 1973, establishing decades of expertise in III-V semiconductor materials.

Today, CMK operates a fully integrated value chain combining GaAs crystal growth, gallium recycling and refining, boron oxide production, and advanced analytical services. This integration ensures exceptional quality, supply reliability, and a sustainable approach to material production.

We manufacture high-purity GaAs monocrystalline wafers for integrated circuits, 5G infrastructure, smartphones, and high-frequency wireless technologies. Our portfolio also includes polycrystalline GaAs materials for PVD and sputtering applications, as well as optical-grade GaAs windows for infrared sensing and optoelectronics.

Sustainability is at the core of our business. Through proprietary recycling technologies, CMK recovers gallium from GaAs production waste and refines it to purity levels of up to 7N (99.99999%). These materials support demanding applications in MBE, MOCVD, III-V semiconductors, and CIGS technologies.

CMK also produces high-purity boron oxide (B₂O₃), an essential encapsulant for crystal growth of GaAs, InP, GaN or GaSb materials.

Complementing our manufacturing capabilities, CMK provides specialized analytical services with unique expertise in Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry (GDMS), delivering ultra-trace elemental analysis and purity certification up to 99.99999% (7N) for metals, alloys, semiconductor materials, and other advanced materials.
