Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus
Maria Michael, PhD, is a field archaeologist with significant experience in maritime archaeology, currently employed by the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus since May 2012. Previous roles include field assistant for the Mazotos Shipwreck Project from June 2011 to June 2013, postgraduate-student assistant at the University of Cyprus, and librarian assistant at the Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus. Additionally, Maria volunteered with the Department of Antiquities Cyprus, focusing on the digitization and organization of underwater project files.
