Clovis Zimmer

Clovis Zimmer is an accomplished environmental and quality management professional with extensive experience in the forestry and paper industry. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Consultant at CMPC since October 2022, Clovis previously held the position of Environmental Manager at CMPC Brasil from January 2020 to October 2022 and worked at CMPC Celulose Riograndense from December 2009 to January 2020 as both Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager and Quality and Environmental Manager. Clovis's earlier roles include Judge for the PGQP - Quality & Productivity Program of Rio Grande do Sul, and Quality and Environmental Manager at Aracruz from 2003 to 2009, where Clovis coordinated environmental impact assessments and factory expansion licensing. Earlier experience includes technical consulting at Riocell from 1988 to 2000. Clovis holds a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and specialized qualifications from both Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul and USP in Quality Engineering and Pulp Production Engineering, respectively.
