Daniel Aracena Saavedra

Daniel Aracena Saavedra has extensive experience in the forestry and engineering sectors, currently serving as Subgerente de Medio Ambiente and Subgerente de Procesos & Calidad at CMPC since October 2016. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at ARAUCO from May 2003 to June 2016, including Superintendente de Líneas de Fibra, where responsibilities included implementing a new work philosophy during the Lean implementation phase at Planta Arauco, and overseeing operations for fiber and drying machines with substantial production capacities. Daniel's early career at CMPC from 2001 to 2003 involved roles as Ingeniero de Apoyo. Educational qualifications include a degree in Ingeniería Civil Química from Universidad de Concepción, as well as advanced studies in business and administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and specialized training in forest products from Universidade Federal de Viçosa.
