Diego Castillo Bravo

Diego Castillo Bravo is an experienced professional in chemical engineering with a strong background in management and operations within the industrial sector. Currently serving as Jefe Unidad de Fibras at CMPC since March 2018, Diego oversees the Fibers Unit at Planta Pacífico, managing processes including Cooking, Classification, Delignification, and Bleaching. Previous roles include Jefe Unidad de Secado and production engineering positions at CMPC, as well as Gerente de operaciones at Droguería Novasur and an engineering role at Ecoenergías, where Diego provided consultancy for renewable energy projects in collaboration with Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María. Diego began career development as an engineering intern at Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato, contributing to the engineering of new process lines aimed at waste reduction. Diego holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, completed in 2016.
