Sandra Riquelme

Environment Manager at CMPC

Sandra Riquelme is currently the Environment Manager at CMPC. Prior to this, they worked as a Consejera at SOFOFA from May 2019 to September 2020, where they were responsible for implementing the corporate-level area of occupational risk prevention, which did not exist until that time. The goal was to control the socio-environmental risks generated by a plant built in 1964, specifically those related to compliance with the emission standards for foundries that came into effect in December 2016 and the liquid waste standards among the most relevant.

Sandra Riquelme has a Diplomada in Gobierno Corporativo from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and is a certified Experto en Prevención de Riesgos de la Industria Extractiva Minera (B) from SERNAGEOMIN (Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería). Sandra also has a Diplomado in Medio Ambiente from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and is a certified Geógrafo from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
