John Wood

John Wood has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in analytics, research, and customer service. John is currently working as a Senior Analytics Engineer at CMSPI starting from May 2023. Prior to this, John worked as a Data Scientist at Waggel from May 2021 to May 2023. John also gained experience as a Data Scientist at the Financial Conduct Authority from September 2018 to April 2021. Additionally, John worked as a Statistical Researcher at the Resolution Foundation from June 2018 to September 2018 and as a Statistical Analyst at the University of Bath Institute for Policy Research (IPR) from April 2018 to June 2018. Before transitioning into the analytics field, John worked as a Social and General Statistics Researcher at the House of Commons from September 2013 to September 2014, where they provided data analysis services to MPs on various subjects. John also worked as a Concierge at Macdonald Hotels from February 2013 to September 2013.

John Wood attended The Robert Napier School from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they enrolled in MidKent College from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology, and Communications and Culture. In 2011, they joined the University of Bath and completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Social Policy from 2011 to 2015. More recently, from 2017 to 2018, John attended the University of Exeter, where they earned a Master's degree in Policy Analytics.
