Oladayo Jenyo

Oladayo Jenyo has a diverse work experience starting from 2008, when they joined the British Army as a Soldier. During their time in the army, they mentored new recruits, participated in humanitarian operations in Afghanistan, and managed small groups of colleagues.

In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Safety Security Officer at G4S, where they served until 2019.

In 2018, Oladayo took on an internship as a Data Scientist at Addison Lee, where they developed a web application for analyzing and visualizing email campaign data. Oladayo also implemented a model for predicting customer lifetime value.

From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Business Data Analyst at KeolisAmey Metrolink, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Oladayo also conducted data preparation and analysis to ensure data reliability.

In 2021, Oladayo joined wejo as a Data Analyst, focusing on utilizing big data tools and techniques to extract and analyze connected cars data. Oladayo gained experience with tools such as Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python.

Currently, Oladayo is working at CMSPI as a Data Engineer, where they apply their skills in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PowerBI, Python, SQL, and Pyspark.

Throughout their work experience, Oladayo has consistently demonstrated their abilities in data analysis, data engineering, and utilizing various tools for insights and solutions.

Oladayo Jenyo's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Science from The University of Salford, obtained between 2017 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2017. Oladayo also holds a Diploma in Data Processing from Olabisi Onabanjo University, obtained in 2005-2006. Oladayo'ssecondary education was completed at Christ Ambassadors' College in Kaduna, Nigeria, where they obtained their GCSE qualification from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Oladayo Jenyo has obtained several certifications, including SQL Server: Reporting Services, Big Data Analytics with Hadoop and Apache Spark, Cloud Hadoop: Scaling Apache Spark, and SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in July and August of 2020.
